THE VINEYARD
Le Clos des Cosses: this is a vintage that comes from one hectare of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon planted on hillsides from where you can see the city of Angers on a clear day. The terroir is composed of marl with ostracaceae. This vine was planted in 1999 and this vintage celebrated its tenth anniversary on the occasion of the first AB certified vintage.
VINIFICATION
The bunches are destemmed. Maceration lasts for 7 to 15 days, for a gentle extraction of the grape tannins. The grapes are devatting in crates, then they are returned directly to the press. The wine will then be aged for 1 year in wood and 6 months in concrete vats.
