Notes: Leading off the Cornas, the 2020 Cornas Champelrose has lots of red and black fruits as well as peppery spice, loamy earth, and dried flower-like nuances. It's ripe, full-bodied, and expansive on the palate, with plenty of tannins as well as flawless balance.
Vineyard
The Champelrose plot is laid out on terraces. This is an exceptional terroir, culminating at an altitude of 250 metres. The terraces rich in granite promote the minerality in the wine!
