Region: Beaujolais, France
Producer: Domaine de Fa
Type: Red Wine
Notes: The Graillot family's original Beaujolais cuveé. The Beaujolais En Besset is drawn from the non-cru vines on Saint-Amour’s Côte de Besset, hence the name of the cuvée.
An energetic, fragrant expression of Gamay. Charming drinking. Juicy and fresh with aroma of cherries, plums, black currants. A pronounced minerality and a little black pepper. Smooth tannin with an iron-like bloodiness which is also found in Graillot's wines in the Crozes-Hermitage. Best to match with poultry, charcuterie, light dishes & cheese.
