Domaine Jean Monnier & Fils - Meursault "Clos du Cromin" 2020

With 1.4 ha, this estate is one of the most important producers of this historic clos of Meursault. Toast, vanilla, white flowers and yellow fruits make up an intense nose. The palate is pleasant, fresh, harmonious and persistent, enhanced by a lovely liquorice finish. This wine can be served young or kept for a while.

This white wine is complex and rich due to prolonged lees contact in oak, followed by 12 to 18 months maturation before being bottled. In order to extract as much fruit as possible, the winemaker does a cold maceration for his reds prior to oak ageing, a modern technique that has enhanced the quality of the wines.
