Notes:
“M le Mauzac” is also declined in Brut Nature for the enlightened wine lovers, it brings you all the freshness of Mauzac in its pure state.
Orchard fruit and fresh-dried hay form the bouquet of this pale golden pour, with a touch of ginger-kissed pie crust in the background. The palate boasts enticing just-ripe orchard and citrus fruit flavors, like sliced apple, pear, tangelo and Meyer lemon, all mingling together in a cohesive medley. A moderate mousse and ample acidity keeps it all fresh and vibrant through the finish.
Mauzac is the identity grape variety of Blanquette de Limoux, a grape variety perfectly adapted to its territory and the most resistant to climate change. For these reasons, Françoise has created “M le Mauzac”, a range of sparkling wines which represents the Mauzac its own way.
Food Pairing: A versatile fizz, beautiful as an aperitif with canapés, smoked salmon and lighter dishes.
