*Domaine de la Villaudière Sancerre Rouge Silex 2022 x 1
This Sancerre Rouge Silex comes from a 0.57 ha plot, planted for over 45 years on a clay-siliceous terroir known as “ Silex ”.
This wine exudes aromas of sunny, even jammy fruits (strawberry, blackberry, redcurrant) and fine woody notes . The palate is generous and ripe with substance and melted tannins . The discreet woodiness blends pleasantly with the fruitiness.
Food Pairing: Sancerre Rouge Silex will pair wonderfully with fine meats such as quail or rabbit, but also with a platter of mature cheeses .
Asian spicy food like Thai Massaman curries or spiced skewers, grilled meats or vegetables.

Aromas of small, ripe red and black berries with a hint of game. Good concentration on the palate, with a generous structure, velvety texture and fruity flavours: a rich wine with silky tannins.
Food pairing: To serve with quail ribs, roasted chicken on a spit, veal or pork. It also marries very well with poached eggs in red wine sauce, one of the famous Burgundy dishes.

A vibrant berry fruit, here with a deeper width of faintly spiced aroma. Fresher, energetic, almost mineral. Clean, dark-fruited. A freshness that’s really as much a tension – great wine again. Subtle finishing but extra long too.
Food Pairing: A perfect pair with seafood and light fish dishes, white meat and goat cheese average exposure level. Try this wine accompanied by a fillet of sea bass with citrus sauce, carpaccio of scallops with mango, or chicken, fried in breadcrumbs thyme, peaches.

Very expressive, with aromas of fresh cherry, redcurrant, rose and peony, with a discreet peppery touch in the background. Supple and juicy attack, beautiful freshness and fine tannins. The overall effect is fluid and balanced, with a lovely floral persistence on the finish. A fine, digestible wine that calls for a meal.
