Bouquet of red and black fruits (cherries, blackberries), notes of garrigue, liquorice and spices. A fine wine. All the beauty of this wine is revealed after having left it to decant for at least an hour.
Goes well with Traditional French cuisine like roast lamb with rosemary, Provençal stew, coq au vin, duck breast, charcuterie (Parma ham, chorizo), cheeses (comté, Beaufort). Asian cuisine: lacquered duck.
