Domaine Denis et Didier Berthollier has been crafting wines in Chignin, at the foot of La Savoyarde mountain, since 1850. For five generations, the family has farmed Savoie’s steep alpine slopes, helping shape the region’s winemaking heritage.
Today, brothers Denis & Didier Berthollier lead the estate with a focus on organic and biodynamic farming, reviving abandoned high-altitude vineyards to produce pure, mineral-driven wines. Working with native Savoie grapes like Jacquère and Bergeron, their low-intervention approach captures the vibrant energy of the French Alps.
