Located in the heart of the Premier Crus of Monthélie, near Volnay 1 er cru clos des chenes et caillerets, the Champs Fulliots plot rests on a relatively dry terroir with a limestone soil.
It shares with Volnay the image of feminine wine. This powerful wine, with fine tannins, has a beautiful purple robe. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of red berries and floral notes (violet), which evolve with age toward underbrush and spice.
The Monthélie Premier Cru Champs Fulliot is best kept for 6 to 12 years.
