This estate has been a family-run business since 1926. It spans 10 hectares, with vines ranging from 10 to 70 years old. Today, the estate is managed by Dominique and Chantal Vaupré, who have been joined for the past two years by their son, Floran. Domaine Vaupré produces Pouilly-Fuissé, Mâcon-Solutré, Saint-Véran, and Crémant de Bourgogne.
Appearance: The wine has a pale gold robe, bright with green reflections.
Nose: The expressive and flattering nose releases aromas of citrus, butter, and minerality.
Palate: On the palate, the attack is round. The body then reveals itself as flavorful, accompanied by a beautiful mentholated freshness that lengthens the wine. The finish is taut, with a dominant mineral character.
These wines are dry, with a beautiful balance between richness and acidity, often featuring delicate aromas of fruit, acacia, hazelnut, and butter. They pair wonderfully with fish dishes, mushroom risottos, and cheese platters.
