An intense small red fruits of gooseberry, raspberry. Layers of riper fruit aromas of smoky notes, and refined and elegant tannins.
Pairing: White meats and poultry in light sauces. Veal (stewed or plain fried chops) will also suit it very well. Cheeses: mild and creamy like Brillat-Savarin or Cîteaux.

About Domaine Jean Francis Rapet
The family estate, founded in 1764, has been passed down through several generations. Since 1996, Jean-François Rapet has managed the family business. Located in Saint-Romain, a picturesque village typical of the Hautes-Côtes de la Bourgogne, the estate is a renovated former mill with a river flowing below the property. The estate covers 13.5 hectares, cultivated using sustainable practices, and produces wines from the Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses appellations, as well as prestigious appellations from the Côte Beaunoise such as Volnay, Pommard, and Meursault.
